Lightweight needled Merino wool Sheet, approx. 12" (32cm) x 19" (49cm), ideal for using as a background for drawing and painting with fibres, using dry needle felting techniques. The resulting picture can either be left textured, or wet-felted on completion so that it is smooth. Alternatively the needled sheet can be used as a pre-felt for wet-felting (i.e. shapes can be cut out and laid on to the prepared wool fibres ready for felting).
