Body Adornments

Recent ideas on which I have been working, have led me to explore possibilities of combining other materials with wool, felting them together, exploring the contrasts between their qualities. Bangles and rings Rings & bangles Combining brightly coloured plastic tubing and Merino wool that has been felted on to create an accent - as 'jewels'. The permutations of colours seem endless! Rings = £2.00; Bangles = £5.00

Necklaces These have been created by felting round wire, using coloured Merino wool, sculpting as I work.

Hair decorations Fashioned individually from 100% Merino wool, can be made in whatever colour combinations you wish.

Flowers can be attached to  hair clips, hair slides, and necklets. They are made in one piece, without sewing. Magic!

Hair clasps can be made in a variety of different colour schemes, and are perfect for adding that exotic touch to your hairdo.

Headpieces made from felted wire with additional decoration painted on in acrylics, and finished off with a seamless felt flower, which has been made in one piece.
